A Personal Emergency Response System.  Lifeline offers a unit and personal help button in the home to call for help when an emergency arises. When pressed, a “help need” call rings at Orleans County Sheriff’s Dispatch Office. Designated friends, relatives or neighbors are then called to check on the client.   Cost is $25 per month, plus $75 for installation. Fees may be paid by Medicaid, if requirements are met.
