Orleans County Sex Offenders

 

     Welcome to the Orleans County Sex Offenders home page.  The Sex Offender Registration Act (SORA) requires the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) to maintain a Sex Offender Registry.  The registry helps protect families and communities by requiring sex offenders to register, and by providing this information to law enforcement and the public.

     The Sex Offender Registry classifies Registered Offenders according to their risk of re-offending:  Level 1 (Low-Risk) - Level 2 (Moderate-Risk) - and Level 3 (High-Risk). 

     The following is a listing of Registered Sex Offenders who reside in Orleans County, and their risk-level.  This information is provided to county residents so you can be informed and aware.  Law Enforcement is prohibited from releasing exact address information on Level 1 Offenders.  Only their zip code will appear next to their name. 

     Anyone who uses this information to injure, harass, or commit a criminal act against any registered sex offender is in violation of the law and subject to arrest and prosecution.
