Domestic Violence

Orleans County Department of Social Services Domestic Violence Program provides non-residential services to victims of Domestic Violence.

Services include: safety planning, basic counseling, case management, hospital accompaniment, DV awareness/education, access to Spanish translation, temporary assistance waivers/housing assistance, transportation, and referrals for immigrant/immigration services, safe dwelling/shelter, legal assistance and other relevant supportive services.

We also provide court advocacy including help with preparation and filing of Family Court documents such as orders of protection and custody, and will accompany victims to court upon request.
